Just in time for the Holiday Season, several childrens clothing outfits offer cute new choices. One label is offering prizes to the winner of their design contest. Another has cute peace sayings on kids tops, while a third offers more upscale childrens clothing designs. A UK-based kids clothier even allows you to purchase carbon offsets and a cleaning company adds toy cleaning products to their line. As you can infer from my recent poll, I have decided it’s time for a new name. I’ve been clinging to teenstyleista.com for years and years. The blog began in 2005, but the name was born years before as an amateur but very formative (for me!) website.

At this point in my life, I’m closer to adulthood than I am teenage years, and I’m okay with that. The name I’ve chosen is every bit as corny as the last, but I’m okay with that, too. As they say in The Holiday, one of my favorite films around this time of the year, “I like corny. I’m looking for corny.”

While I am no longer a teenager, I will always be born and bred in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. I will always marvel at the sight of Starbucks on every corner, I will always think that a town with a Target must be something special, and I will always envision Saks, Nordstrom, and even J. Crew in terms of their web presence instead of their physical stores, because that’s what I grew up with.

I will be infinitely grateful if you let me know what you think. You know how a new outfit puts a spring in your step? I can already tell that this new look will put a spring in my keyboard.
