Designer Jean Discounts
2011
It’s one of the great facts of life that everyone loves a bargain, but the essence of saving money goes deeper than merely finding the lowest price tag available. Getting a hold of a quality product at a big discount is where you’ll find the real bang for the buck. Case in point: That small, boxy, late-’80s import automobile known as the Yugo. Everybody loved the price of the Yugo ($3900); nobody much liked the Yugo itself.
Brand Names, Big Savings
When it comes to shoppers who angle for every advantage, there are considerable discounts to be had online, and designer jeans are one of those items where the money you save is mirrored by the brands that can be found. Companies like J-Brand (which feature “skinny jeans”) are not exactly shy about handing out coupon codes that can trim as much as 70 percent off the regular price when you shop at certain online stores, like MFredric.com or Nordstrom.
Online Bargain Bin
Finding online discounts is actually one of the least challenging endeavors one will undertake in the course of an ordinary day. Just open your browser, pull up a search engine and type in, “Discount Voucher Designer Jeans”. You’ll be able to choose from a couple of million results. The bigger-name sites (the ones that bob up to the surface of the search engines) have names like Thecouponscoop.com, and they’re the ones that can lead you to savings on brand names that never go out of style (yes, as in Levi’s).
You have to be ready to pull the trigger on the deal, though, as many such discount vouchers expire on the day you’re viewing them. When you click on the “use coupon” link, you may be – as is the case with the Levi’s coupon – directed straight to the proprietor’s website (i.e., Levi’s). There, upon “checking out”, the e-shopper can use the promo code to collect the savings. Be sure to read all the terms before splurging, though, for such things as minimum purchase amounts.
