Jeans Are the New Dress Pants

When I was younger no one would have dreamed of wearing jeans to a funeral. Now it is, with the right blouse/shirt; tie/necklace; jacket; shoes and color of jeans, it is perfectly allowable. Dark jeans fit in better with more formal occasions. A stylish blouse and a classy necklace can dress up jeans on a woman while a dress shirt and tie or stylish chain with an open collar and a fancy watch can do it for men.

For men, a nice leather belt with a stylish belt buckle can determine the look that your jeans are trying to convey; whereas a woman can add a cloth belt, chain belt or other colorful belt to spruce up her favorite denim. And don’t forget the shoes! Not that you would forgot your shoes, but the kind of shoes you wear (pumps, flats, loafers, boots) will have everything to do with how your jeans come across.
