Have you thought about what to get dad for that special day yet? Well if you haven’t dismissed the idea of novelty yet, then please skip the aftershave, the necktie tie, and the boring polo he already has in every color under the rainbow-because men WANT, NEED, and practically LUST gadgets, including yours truly…. and here’s two that might actually be around (meaning, he’ll use) until next year- instead of collecting dust like the “awesome” power drill you sooo wanted him to have back in ’95…remember, the one that was mysteriously donated to the local thrift store… I like blackberry’s updated “curve” cell phone…even though my mobile is technically considered “vintage.”  Why?? Because this sleek, pocket-sized multitasking machine will end up being his PC away from home, and then some!! And the “nano” ipod by Apple, just gives him something extra to play with or at least figure out during the interim…yep, I’m afraid it’s true, ipod added a video feature that will allow the two of you to watch T.V., movies and silly podcasts during your downtime together, if that’s really possible -don’t you just love sharing…also, be prepared to spend more than a little change, as these retail between $149- $250 a pop…Happy Father’s Day guys, go easy on the minutes!
