eCigarettes Complement Any Outfit

If you watch any television show or movies from the 1960’s you will see a large amount of actors and actresses smoking cigarettes on screen. Smoking was acceptable back then and having a cigarette in hand was also an accessory that went well with any outfit and their performance.

Fast forward to the 21st century and electronic cigarettes are the new, fashionable accessory that goes well in any social setting and with any outfit.

Why are eCigs Cool?

  • You can smoke them anywhere – Since you won’t be releasing any smoke into the air, you can smoke an eCig in the club, on the street corner or in your home without offending people or potentially endangering lives.
  • They will save you money – No smoker likes paying over $20 a pack for cigarettes but they do it anyway because cigarettes are an addiction. With eCigs, the average smoker can expect to pay between $50 and $200 for a starter pack of electronic cigarettes. The difference is that one e cigarette will last a smoker about as long as 15 cigarettes will. This will mean a huge savings over the course of one year.
  • No social stigma – Unlike the 1950’s and 1960’s, smoking is no longer “cool” or acceptable in public places but with eCigs, the stigma that comes with smoking is a thing of the past. The average smoker will be able to smoke whenever they want without fear of breaking the laws or offending people who don’t like second hand smoke.

Where Can You Buy Electronic Cigarettes?

In today’s world you can purchase electronic cigarettes or blu cigs almost anywhere from stores where tobacco products are sold to most major websites online. Many smokers start out with a starter pack of eCigs and then purchase an optional bottle of smoke juice as well so they can top off their eCigs and enjoy a full dose of nicotine every time they smoke.

Spotted these numbered hemp/cotton blend napkins in Domino and had to share here. We’re a cloth napkin kinda house and having cute numbered ones like these would be perfect to help jog our memory as to which napkin belongs to whom. Love em.

Runners World Chases Down the Green

runners world green issue photo

On the surface it might seem like running has little or no negative impact, hey it doesn’t even need a car. But Runner’s World magazine found it wasn’t necessarily so, “because running shoes aren’t so green, not today at least. Production is energy- and toxin-intensive…” They took a tour of some production facilities in China and visited many of the key American brands to get the inside scoop. Then they devoted their November 2008 issue to the topic. Some of what they found caused journalist Florence Williams to remark:

“I feel like I never want to buy anything ever again”.

We pick out a few highlights of her investigation belo…
