It happens, I know. You get all excited about the new blush color you bought and get a little heavy-handed; or you’re getting ready when it’s still dark out (and you’re still half asleep) and the next thing you know, your cheeks have so much color on them you resemble Bozo the Clown’s kid sister.
So what do you do when your blush takes over your whole face? Easy.
- Grab some translucent powder and swipe away.
- Be sure to use a loose powder – pressed will do in a real pinch, but loose works better here and gives you more control.
- Try to use the biggest, fluffiest brush in your collection (rather than a puff, which could streak).
- Dip the brush in the powder, and gently tap the handle of the brush with your hand to shake off any excess.
- Then…just dust over your color mishap until a more natural look emerges, and voila! A beautiful, healthy glow!
